I Just Want to Say Thanks!

Our Anniversary

I’ll try to keep this short and sweet. Support of our love has been tremendous. My intentions were to confess the ongoing love I have to my wife;  stay true to commitment I vowed to show her from the moment we locked each other down on the altar. Give her a public confession you know? Honestly folks…your support, love and comments have been heart filling. Marriage isn’t easy, by no means, but with the love and support of my wife it has been a true blessing and to know that we have so many people in our corner is the icing on the cake.

So hats off to those who don’t wait for a schadenfreude worthy moment. Respect to those who support because it feels good to them. Love to those who know joy and want to spread it with others. Blessings to the married couples in their 1st year and the married couples logging 50 plus. Hats off to those who respect the union of two people. Thumbs up to the husband that supports his wife’s ambitions. Deepest praise to the wife that sticks by her husband’s foolishness. Hats off to you all. With love and respect.

Here are more pictures from the wedding.

I have been married for over 16 years now and it has by no means been easy but it is easily one of the best decisions I have ever made. My husband and I are a team and I am the ying to his yang. We work so well together but that has come with many trials on how that should look like for US. We don’t miss a beat when change rears its head. For example, we had to switch my daughter’s school recently, which meant a schedule change for all of us. I drop her off in the mornings. We exchange vehicle during lunch break, and he picks her up in the afternoon. He cleans and gets dinner made without complaining. I come home and do not have to worry about the time. That’s TEAMWORK!! I hear others complain about their marriages and I can honestly say that I LOVE being married and wouldn’t have it no other way!

Reese Peterson, Thanks for sharing a part of your personal life. Marriage is difficult, but so are many things in life. What makes marriage less stressful is when people decide to be selfless and act in the name of the team. From what you say you and your husband are no strangers to that. 16 Years is something that should be celebrated. Here is a salute to you and your marriage, and may the next 16 years be as insightful as the last.
